Mes premières impressions

Venir travailler à l'étranger a été pour moi une décision assez facile à prendre puisque je savais qu'une amie m'y attendait. De plus, étant dans une période stagnante sur le plan de ma carrière professionelle, je me suis dit que c'était maintenant ou jamais. Personnellement, j'avais déjà eu la chance de vivre quatre mois en France pour faire une partie de mes études universitaires et comme j'aurais aimé rester plus longtemps, passer un an à l'etranger me semblait une periode raisonnable pour commencer. De cette façon, je pourrai réellement savoir si je veux rester plus longtemps ou non et j'aurai une bonne idée de toutes les saisons puisque l'été semble être quelque chose ici!

GALA KINDERVILLE 2011

Grand gala méritas 2011

Le 2 décembre dernier nous avons célébré notre grand gala méritas au chic Club de golf Country Club de Montréal à St-Lambert.  110 employés ont participé à ce grand gala. Une soirée remplie d’émotions et d’honneurs et de surprises.
 
Remise de prix pour avoir atteint l’excellence!
Nous avons souligné l’excellent travail de plusieurs membres du personnel qui ont performé de manière remarquable. Certaines personnes dans une équipe font la différence et d'autres se surpassent. Nous avons distribué 14 plaques d'honneur en guise de remerciement et distribué pour plus de 4,000$ en chèque bonus récompense.

Awards

Awards are given to staff based upon their performance and the performanbce of the daycare centers at which they work. Management also gives plaques for loyal service to those who have worked for 5, 10 or 15 years at Kinderville. All awards are screened by a committee and management staff and their family members are not eligible to receive them.

Kinderville Standards

As every staff person is aware,Kinderville's twelve  standards for the delivery of children's care and education services, exceed legislated standards in most jurisdictions. Adopted in March 2003, these were revised in February 2007 to include references to special needs students. Should you require training or clarifications, please contact operations. Full story.

Living in Dubai

Naima Chandna, Educator, The Canadia Preschool. Sharjah

On May 30th I will celebrate my one year anniversary in Dubai. I cannot believe it has been a year already. Time has really flown by, and a year later, I call Dubai my home away from home (Toronto).

Moving here I feel as if I have moved closer to my roots, as I am originally from Pakistan, as there is a great influence of Pakistani food, culture, people and language in everyday life.
